League owned equipment is reconditioned and recertified annually. Our helmets are recertified to meet all NOCSAE performance standards

Pop Warner has a long and proud tradition in Yorba Linda. For over forty years, Pop Warner has served the youth of Yorba Linda, Placentia and other surrounding cities. YLPW offers flag and tackle football at every level for athletes ages 5-15. Pop Warner is the only national youth sports organization in America that requires its athletes to perform adequately in the classroom before permitting them to play on the field.

We are aware of the current rise in concern of concussions and other injuries. At Yorba Linda Pop Warner, we are proud to say that we have taken steps to ensure that our coaches and staff take the utmost care of our athletes, which include our children, your children, and their children as well. Please keep in mind this association is made possible by parent volunteers, we all have kids that participate in this program so rest assured that safety is a TOP priority. The game has changed and so has the way that athletes are trained and coached. All our coaches and their staff are required to take the following safety training courses.
